Role Description The Compliance Officer is a part-time, hybrid role based in Dubai, with the flexibility to work both on-site at the studio and from home. In this position, the Compliance Officer will develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies and procedures to ensure the studio operates in line with relevant regulations and industry standards, including those related to licensing, contracts, and financial practices. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring regulatory changes, conducting compliance assessments, reviewing agreements and documentation, and identifying potential risks. The role also involves collaborating with studio leadership on compliance-related decisions, preparing basic compliance reports, and advising team members on regulatory requirements and best practices. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Compliance Management and Regulatory Compliance skills, with the ability to interpret and apply relevant laws and regulations. Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills and Finance knowledge to evaluate risks, review financial practices, and support transparent documentation. Candidates should possess clear and professional Communication skills to collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners, and to explain compliance requirements effectively. Prior experience in compliance, legal, or risk management roles, preferably within creative, media, or entertainment industries, is beneficial. Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience, is preferred. High attention to detail, integrity, and the ability to work independently in a part-time, hybrid environment.
