Brand Portfolio Manager
About the Role We are looking for a commercially driven Brand Portfolio Manager to grow and strengthen our brand portfolio by identifying products and partners that customers already want. In this role, you'll use market insights, consumer trends, and performance data to discover new opportunities, build strong brand relationships, and bring new partners onboard quickly. Success in this position comes from making informed, data-backed decisions and creating a portfolio that stays relevant, competitive, and profitable.
Key Responsibilities Research market trends, customer demand, competitor activity, and marketplace insights to identify high-potential brands. Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective brand partners across both existing and new product categories. Manage the full onboarding process for new brands, with a strong focus on marketplace and consignment partnerships. Negotiate commercial agreements that support business growth while limiting inventory exposure. Partner closely with the Digital, Marketing, and Content teams to ensure successful brand launches and ongoing growth. Monitor key performance metrics such as traffic, conversion, assortment performance, and overall commercial contribution, taking action where needed. Continuously evaluate the portfolio by introducing new opportunities while phasing out underperforming brands. Coordinate with Supply Chain and Operations teams to ensure smooth implementation, product availability, and operational readiness. Recommend outright purchasing opportunities only when supported by strong commercial and demand data.
What We're Looking For4–7 years of experience in buying, merchandising, category management, marketplace partnerships, or brand acquisition. Experience working with consumer brands, distributors, retailers, or marketplace platforms. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into business decisions. Excellent negotiation, relationship-building, and stakeholder management abilities. Commercially minded with a proactive, results-oriented approach.
Nice to Have A strong track record of sourcing brands that align with customer demand and market trends. Experience expanding product assortment while effectively managing inventory risk. Ability to execute quickly and efficiently, bringing new brands to market in a timely manner. A data-driven approach to decision-making rather than relying on assumptions. Experience building a well-balanced portfolio that remains relevant, competitive, and commercially successful.
