We are looking for an experienced Procurement Engineer with strong experience in building construction projects to manage procurement activities for civil works.
Responsibilities:
* Manage end-to-end procurement activities for civil and construction materials.* Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and timely delivery.* Prepare RFQs, review quotations, and coordinate with suppliers/subcontractors.* Ensure materials are procured as per project specifications, quality standards, and required timelines.* Coordinate with project, engineering, and site teams for material requirements.* Monitor delivery schedules and follow up with suppliers to avoid project delays.* Maintain procurement records, purchase orders, and documentation.
Qualifications & Experience:
* Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering / Construction Management or related field.* Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement for building construction projects in the UAE* Must have experience working on construction sites/main contractor projects.* Strong knowledge of civil construction materials, suppliers, and subcontractor coordination.* Good negotiation, communication, and coordination skills.
