Roles & Responsibilities
Study & review Invitation to Tender (ITT), technical specifications, datasheets, drawings, and scope of work related to Electrical & Instrumentation systems.
Identify scope boundaries, technical requirements, and project risks associated with the E&I discipline.
Prepare technical clarifications and tender queries when required.
Develop detailed cost estimates including direct costs (materials, labour, construction equipment) and indirect costs.
Prepare unit rate build-ups and pricing analysis using historical cost data and productivity norms.
Assist in preparing technical and commercial tender submissions.
Maintain organized estimation records, cost databases, and tender documentation.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor’s degree in electrical or electrical & Instrumentation Engineering.
5–7 years of experience in tendering or cost estimation for Oil & Gas EPC projects.
Experience working with major EPC contractors or international oil & gas projects is preferred.
Strong knowledge of Electrical & Instrumentation systems used in oil & gas facilities.
Ability to interpret:
Single Line Diagrams (SLD)
Electrical layouts
Instrument datasheets and hook-ups
Control system architecture diagrams
Familiar with international standards such as:
IEC
IEEE
NFPA
API
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office tools for estimation and data analysis.
