Roles & Responsibilities

  • Study & review Invitation to Tender (ITT), technical specifications, datasheets, drawings, and scope of work related to Electrical & Instrumentation systems.

  • Identify scope boundaries, technical requirements, and project risks associated with the E&I discipline.

  • Prepare technical clarifications and tender queries when required.

  • Develop detailed cost estimates including direct costs (materials, labour, construction equipment) and indirect costs.

  • Prepare unit rate build-ups and pricing analysis using historical cost data and productivity norms.

  • Assist in preparing technical and commercial tender submissions.

  • Maintain organized estimation records, cost databases, and tender documentation.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical or electrical & Instrumentation Engineering.

  • 5–7 years of experience in tendering or cost estimation for Oil & Gas EPC projects.

  • Experience working with major EPC contractors or international oil & gas projects is preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of Electrical & Instrumentation systems used in oil & gas facilities.

  • Ability to interpret:

  • Single Line Diagrams (SLD)

  • Electrical layouts

  • Instrument datasheets and hook-ups

  • Control system architecture diagrams

  • Familiar with international standards such as:

  • IEC

  • IEEE

  • NFPA

  • API


  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office tools for estimation and data analysis.
