Roles & Responsibilities

Analyze architectural drawings, BOQs, and tender documents to prepare cost estimates. Prepare detailed material take-offs for joinery items (cabinets, wardrobes, doors, counters, furniture, etc.) Calculate labor, material, subcontractor, and overhead costs Source and obtain quotations from suppliers and subcontractors Prepare competitive and accurate tender submissions and quotations Coordinate with drafting, production, and project teams to validate technical details Identify cost-saving opportunities and value engineering options Maintain updated pricing databases for materials and labor Review project scope and highlight exclusions, assumptions, and risks Assist in negotiation with clients and contractors when required Ensure estimates comply with project specifications and deadlines Required Skills & Qualifications

Desired Candidate Profile

Degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Architecture, or related field Proven experience as a Joinery Estimator or in interior fit-out estimation Strong knowledge of joinery materials, finishes, and manufacturing processes Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and BOQs Proficiency in Excel and estimation software Strong numerical and analytical skills Good understanding of market rates and supplier pricing Preferred Experience

2–5 years in joinery, furniture manufacturing, or interior fit-out companies Experience in UAE projects is an advantage
