Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Technical Sales Specialist to join our growing team in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background combined with proven sales experience in testing, inspection, certification (TIC), fire safety, building materials, construction products, façade systems, or MEP sectors.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, managing client relationships, preparing technical quotations, coordinating with internal technical teams, and ensuring smooth project execution from enquiry through certification.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and manage new business opportunities for testing, inspection, and certification services.
Generate enquiries from manufacturers, consultants, contractors, developers, and project stakeholders.
Promote laboratory testing, certification, inspections, audits, fire resistance testing, reaction-to-fire testing, façade testing, fire doors, fire pumps, and related services.
Build and maintain strong client relationships across the UAE and GCC.
Understand client technical requirements and coordinate with engineering teams to prepare accurate quotations.
Guide clients on applicable international standards (EN, ASTM, BS, UL, NFPA, ISO, IEC, UAE Civil Defense).
Coordinate project handover, testing schedules, documentation, certification requirements, and client communication.
Maintain CRM records, sales pipeline, quotation tracking, and forecast updates.
Support payment follow-up and ensure compliance with company commercial policies.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and identify new business opportunities.
Desired Candidate Profile
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Fire Safety Engineering, or related Engineering discipline.
Minimum 3–5 years of technical sales experience.
Experience in Testing, Inspection & Certification (TIC) is preferred.
Experience in Fire Safety, Building Materials, Construction Products, Façade, MEP, Laboratory Services, or Certification industries is highly desirable.
UAE/GCC market experience preferred.
Valid UAE Driving License is mandatory.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and client relationship management skills.
Strong consultative selling and business development abilities.
Ability to understand technical specifications and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
