Role Description The Information Technology Executive is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This role is responsible for overseeing daily IT operations, including maintaining hardware and software systems, managing user accounts, and ensuring reliable network connectivity across all outlets and the workshop. The individual will provide technical support to staff, diagnose and resolve IT issues, and coordinate troubleshooting efforts to minimize downtime. Responsibilities also include monitoring system performance, implementing security best practices, managing backups, and collaborating with management to plan technology upgrades that support business growth. The role involves documenting IT procedures, training users on systems and tools, and liaising with external vendors when required.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Information Technology and IT Operations skills, including familiarity with enterprise systems and general IT infrastructure management. Candidates should possess hands-on Troubleshooting and Technical Support skills to diagnose, resolve, and prevent recurring hardware and software issues. Candidates should possess Network Administration skills, including basic configuration, monitoring, and maintenance of LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, and related network devices. Candidates should possess knowledge of IT security best practices, data backup and recovery procedures, and user access management. Candidates should possess strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with non-technical teams and vendors. Relevant diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., Comp TIA Network+, Microsoft, Cisco) are an advantage. Experience in a retail or multi-location environment is beneficial, especially in supporting point-of-sale systems and integrated business applications.
