• Lead and manage all HSE activities across multiple landscaping construction projects.

• Develop, implement, and monitor HSE policies, procedures, risk assessments, and safe work practices.

• Ensure compliance with UAE Labour Law, OSHAD, Abu Dhabi Municipality, ADNOC (where applicable), client HSE requirements, and international safety standards.

• Conduct site inspections, safety audits, toolbox talks, emergency drills, and HSE training programs.

• Investigate incidents, near misses, and accidents, implementing effective corrective and preventive actions.

• Monitor high-risk activities including excavation, lifting operations, irrigation works, heavy equipment operations, tree transplantation, roadworks, hardscape installation, and utility works.

• Manage HSE documentation, reports, KPIs, statutory records, and client safety submissions.

• Liaise with clients, consultants, government authorities, and subcontractors on all HSE matters.

• Lead and mentor site safety teams while promoting a proactive safety culture across all project sites.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related discipline.

• NEBOSH IGC is mandatory; NEBOSH Diploma is preferred.

• Minimum 10 years of HSE experience, including at least 5 years as a Safety Manager.

• Mandatory experience with landscaping contracting companies in the UAE/GCC.

• Proven experience handling large-scale landscaping and infrastructure projects from project commencement to completion.

• Strong knowledge of OSHAD, ISO 45001, UAE HSE regulations, risk management, incident investigation, and emergency response.

• Excellent leadership, communication, reporting, and stakeholder management skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and HSE reporting systems.

Preferred Industry Experience

Candidates should have worked with leading landscaping contractors delivering major infrastructure landscaping, public realm, parks, streetscape, irrigation, and hardscape projects for government and private sector clients in the UAE/GCC.
