At Veraspec, we specialize in facade inspection, testing, maintenance, and access solutions for complex high-rise buildings across the UAE and Australia. As part of our continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Estimating Engineer to work closely with our sales and operations teams to deliver accurate, competitive, and technically sound proposals.
Key Responsibilities Conduct site inspections of existing high-rise buildings to assess facade condition and access requirements Develop practical and safe methodologies for facade repair, maintenance, and inspection works Prepare detailed cost estimates, BOQs, and tender submissions Support the sales team in pre-contract discussions, technical clarifications, and client presentations Coordinate with operations teams to ensure methodology alignment and project feasibility Review drawings, specifications, and client requirements to identify risks and opportunities
Requirements Proven experience in facade repair and maintenance on existing high-rise buildings Strong understanding of facade systems including glazing, cladding, sealants, and cleaning Hands-on knowledge of rope access techniques and associated safety standards (IRATA preferred) Experience in estimating, cost planning, and bid submission for facade or access-related works Ability to develop clear and practical work methodologies for complex access environments Strong communication and coordination skills
Preferred UAE experience working on high-rise commercial or residential towers Engineering background (facade, civil, structural, or related discipline) Familiarity with facade inspection standards and reporting processes
