Role Description The BIM Architect is a full-time, role based in the United Arab Emirates. This role is responsible for developing and managing BIM models across all project stages, ensuring accurate representation of architectural and construction elements. Day-to-day tasks include preparing and updating architectural and construction drawings, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to resolve clashes, and producing detailed submittals and documentation. The role also involves implementing BIM best practices and contributing to continuous improvement of workflows and templates.
Qualifications Strong foundation in Architecture with experience interpreting and producing Architectural Drawings. Proficiency in Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools and workflows for design, coordination, and clash detection. Ability to develop and manage detailed Construction Drawings that align with project specifications and codes. Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field; professional licensure or progress toward licensure is an advantage. Hands-on experience with industry-standard BIM and CAD software (e.g., Revit, Navisworks, Auto CAD, or equivalent). Knowledge of AEC industry standards, local building codes, and construction practices in the region. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and coordination skills, with attention to detail and model accuracy. Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in multidisciplinary project teams on-site. Prior experience in BIM-led projects in the Middle East or similar markets is a plus.
