Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Senior Interior Designer role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, requiring fluent Arabic and English communication. The Senior Interior Designer will lead interior design projects from concept development through to final handover, including space planning, mood boards, detailed drawings, and FF&E selection. Daily responsibilities include meeting clients, understanding project briefs, presenting design proposals, coordinating with suppliers and contractors, and overseeing design implementation on site to maintain quality and timelines. The role involves preparing construction and joinery drawings, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and managing project documentation. The designer will mentor junior team members, contribute to design standards and processes, and support business development through design presentations and client relationships.
Qualifications Demonstrated expertise in Interior Design and FF&E, including concept development, material selection, and furniture and finishes specification. Strong skills in Space Planning and Architecture fundamentals to optimize layouts, circulation, and functionality for residential and commercial spaces. Proficiency in preparing Construction Drawings and detailed documentation for contractors, joinery workshops, and authorities. Fluency in Arabic and English, with the ability to communicate design ideas clearly in both languages, verbally and in writing. (very important for having clear presentation communication) Advanced skills in industry-standard design software (e.g., Auto CAD, Revit or similar, Sketch Up, Adobe Creative Suite, 3D visualization tools). Proven experience (typically 6+ years) as an interior designer, including leadership of full-cycle projects in the Gulf region or similar markets. Strong project management abilities, including time management, budgeting, coordination with multidisciplinary teams, and site supervision. Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a closely related field, or equivalent professional experience. Attention to detail, creativity, and the ability to balance client needs, aesthetics, and practical constraints. Knowledge of materials (laminates, marbles, standard sizes etc) will be preferred Ability to use AI softwares to speed up the designing & rendering processes will a huge plus (as time is essence in our field). Knowing softwares like cohoom and other alternatives is a plus. UAE Driving license is preferred
