• Role will carry out overhaul of pumps and rotating equipment, installation and commissioning activities on overhauled pumps and associated equipment, fault finding, system diagnostics and repairs.

• Working with pumps, valves and rotating equipment associated with oil & gas, power generation, desalination and waste water industries.

• Carry out dismantling and assembling activities on various types of rotating equipment and valves in the KSB workshop,

• Carry out detailed dimensional inspection of component parts and complete all relevant workshop record sheets,

• Carry out pressure testing activities,

• Carry out in-house NDT activities,

• Work independently with minimum supervision,

• Work as a team leader in the workshop and at site when required

• Carry out fault finding, failure diagnosis, dismantling, and assembling activities on all types of rotating equipment at customer sites,

• Carry out installation and commissioning on all types of rotating equipment at customers site,

• Compile detailed and comprehensive site reports

• Follow all safety and HSE regulations

• Maintain a clean work environment and follow all quality regulations

Desired Candidate Profile

• Proven mechanical skills required to include the ability to read mechanical blueprint and electrical schematics

• Knowledge of maintenance and operation of pumps is required.

• Must be able to assess and troubleshoot a variety of situations. Willing to train self-motivated individuals.

• Must be detail oriented, have good organizational skills, be able to manage time and priorities and be able to multi-task.

• Proven problem-solving skills

• Familiarity with tools, equipment and shop environment

• Ability to handle multiple priorities and remain focused and organized

• Willing to move up and take on leadership position.

• Valid country driving license.
