Develop, implement, and maintain effective cost accounting systems and procedures.
Lead the implementation and optimization of costing software and ERP cost modules.
Perform Activity-Based Costing (ABC) Analysis to identify cost drivers and improve operational efficiency.
Analyze product, service, departmental, and project costs to support business decisions.
Monitor inventory valuation, material consumption, labor costs, and manufacturing overheads.
Prepare monthly cost reports, variance analysis, profitability reports, and management dashboards.
Partner with procurement, operations, production, and finance teams to improve cost efficiency.
Develop standard costing models and review standard cost updates periodically.
Conduct cost-benefit analyses for new projects, products, and capital investments.
Ensure accurate allocation of direct and indirect costs across business units.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and annual business planning activities.
Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend process improvements.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and audit requirements.
Lead and mentor the costing team while driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Desired Candidate Profile
CMA (Certified Management Accountant) or ICWA (Institute of Cost Accountants of India) qualification is mandatory.
Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
Master's degree or MBA (Finance) will be an added advantage.
