Design and develop mechanical systems, components, and assemblies using SolidWorks / AutoCAD, producing detailed 3D models, engineering drawings, and design specifications.
Perform engineering calculations and simulations to validate functionality, efficiency, and structural integrity.
Lead prototype testing, troubleshooting, and product validation; resolve design issues with practical solutions.
Prepare technical reports, BOMs, and documentation for design reviews and client presentations.
Coordinate with manufacturing, purchase, and quality assurance to ensure design feasibility and process compliance.
Select materials, components, and vendors; maintain accurate records of design changes, test results, and milestones.
Apply industry standards, regulations, and best practices; stay current with new technologies in mechanical design.
Conveyor Experience (Mandatory)
Strong understanding of conveyor types — belt, roller, chain, screw, and carousel conveyors.
End-to-end conveyor project execution: concept, CAD design, fabrication, installation, alignment, and commissioning.
Component selection — motors, gearboxes, rollers, idlers, pulleys, belts, chains, and drives — based on load, speed, and application.
Load calculation and structural integrity analysis for conveyor frames and supports.
Conveyor automation integration with PLCs, sensors, and control systems.
Preventive/corrective maintenance and performance optimization — reducing downtime, increasing throughput and reliability.
Cost estimation, vendor coordination, client documentation (proposals, BOMs, manuals), and knowledge of OSHA / CE / ISO safety norms.
Desired Candidate Profile
