You are reporting to the Fleet Manager
Preparation of yearly budget, in co-operation with shipboard management
Evaluating progress and cost development against budgets, with proposals for necessary changes or improvements, subject to management approval
Monitoring ships performances through ship reports, class survey reports, and verification by inspection on-board
Providing maritime/technical information and support to shipboard management
Improving maintenance systems, methods and practices
Monitoring progress of repair and maintenance and classification/statutory programme/surveys
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor's/master's in marine engineering, or related field
Experience in Tanker vessels is mandatory
5–10+ years, including 2–3 years in senior rank (Chief Engineer)
3–8 years as Marine/Technical Superintendent
IMO conventions, SIRE/OCIMF vetting, MS Office;
Willing and able to travel locally and internationally for fleet ship visits, audits, dry-docking, and vetting inspections
