. SCOPE OF THE JOB

➢ Assist the Project Manager to complete the project on time and within the approved budget ; design and set-up the most suitable and effective control organization on the project to meet these objectives in compliance with the contract specifications

➢ The Project Controls Manager/Specialist position will be assigned to a role in Project Controls. This position has supervisory/lead responsibility over a group of project controls personnel or functions as a technical specialist who develops advanced concepts.

➢ Providing Project Control support to Proposals & Projects Planning, scheduling, monitoring and control of the project on a continuous basis through work schedules, progress measurement and reporting systems

  1. RESPONSIBILITIES AND AUTHORITY

3.1 General

➢ Good teamwork and communication skills with high initiative

➢ Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

➢ Familiar with Quality / HSE / Contractual procedures & International Standards in Oil & Gas Industry.

➢ Review Cost/Delivery Impact situations with Project Manager, schedule risk analysis

3.2 Systems and Procedures

➢ Providing Project Control support to Proposals & Projects, Planning, scheduling, monitoring and control of the project on a continuous basis through work schedules, progress measurement and reporting systems

➢ Project Controls Manager Leads project controls team on the most complex and highest risk projects.

➢ Performs integral functions on the project management leadership team to ensure project success.

➢ Should have ability to guide Planning Engineer in the preparation of the Project Plan, identifying the required resources and the timescale including catch-up plans and look ahead.

➢ Should ensure collation of project costs and revenues, prepare cash-flow and payment reports and detection of early warning signals for delays and overruns.

➢ Hands-on Experience on Primavera, Knowledge of Financial management with good understanding of Budget and Costing

➢ Should have ability to prepare detail planning schedules using software packages such as Primavera

➢ Rigorous monitoring of actual vs. schedule progress, forecasting, trend analysis, resource planning during project implementation is essential.

➢ Identifies improvements to processes and leads in developing staff capabilities.

➢ Leads in project controls efforts to support capturing new work.

Desired Candidate Profile

Education

➢ Degree in Mechanical Engineering

Work Experience and Related Skills

➢ Min 18 years of exp in offshore planning out of which 3 years as Project Control Manager of project in the oil and gas industry. (Offshore Project experience will be an advantage).

Eligibility Criteria

✔ Experience in construction (not design), Pipeline / Oil & Gas / EPC / Flowline / Wellhead / Brownfield / Upstream / Onshore

✔ Gulf / ADNOC experience preferred

✔ Clean-shaven policy applicable

✔ Candidates must be immediate joiners

❌ Candidates with Metro / Building / Road Infrastructure experience are not eligible

Maximum age limit is 49 years

For managerial positions, this may be extended up to 50 years if the candidate has significant Gulf experience

Managerial and SR. Positions:

A minimum of 5 years of Gulf experience in the relevant field is mandatory
