Civil Engineer (Structural / Infrastructure / Site Supervision) Role Description We are seeking a Civil Engineer (Structural / Infrastructure / Site Supervision) to plan, design, coordinate, supervise, and support the successful execution of civil and structural engineering projects while ensuring compliance with technical specifications, engineering standards, regulatory requirements, quality expectations, and project objectives. This role is responsible for providing technical expertise throughout the project lifecycle, including planning, design review, site supervision, construction coordination, inspection, and project completion. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with project managers, architects, consultants, contractors, surveyors, suppliers, and relevant authorities to ensure engineering activities are executed efficiently and in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and applicable regulations. You will evaluate project requirements, provide practical engineering solutions, and support project delivery to achieve safety, quality, and performance objectives. Key responsibilities include reviewing structural and infrastructure designs, preparing and verifying engineering calculations, coordinating site activities, monitoring construction progress, and ensuring all civil and structural works comply with approved plans and engineering standards. You will conduct site inspections, supervise construction activities, identify technical issues, and recommend appropriate corrective actions to maintain project quality and schedule requirements. The role also involves preparing technical reports, reviewing contractor submissions, verifying material and workmanship compliance, coordinating testing and inspection activities, and maintaining accurate project documentation throughout all stages of construction. You will participate in project meetings, provide engineering recommendations for design modifications, and support procurement and construction planning activities where necessary. You will monitor project risks, implement quality assurance and quality control measures, and ensure compliance with workplace health, safety, environmental, and sustainability requirements. In addition, you will contribute to process improvements and support the adoption of engineering best practices to enhance project efficiency and constructability. This position requires close coordination with multidisciplinary project teams to facilitate communication among stakeholders and ensure project milestones are achieved within established scope, schedule, and quality expectations. Success in this role requires strong technical competency, analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple engineering responsibilities in a dynamic construction environment. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related discipline. Strong understanding of civil and structural engineering principles, construction methodologies, and infrastructure development practices. Knowledge of engineering design standards, building codes, technical specifications, and regulatory compliance requirements. Familiarity with structural systems, foundations, reinforced concrete structures, steel structures, drainage systems, roads, utilities, and civil infrastructure projects. Proficiency in engineering software such as Auto CAD, Civil 3D, Revit, STAAD. Pro, ETABS, SAP2000, or equivalent engineering applications. Understanding of site supervision practices, construction management principles, and engineering documentation requirements. Knowledge of quality assurance (QA), quality control (QC), construction inspection procedures, and material compliance standards. Familiarity with Building Information Modeling (BIM), project management tools, document control systems, or engineering collaboration platforms is advantageous. Strong analytical thinking, technical problem-solving, and decision-making skills with excellent attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary project stakeholders. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Power Point, and Outlook for engineering reporting and project coordination. Ability to prepare engineering reports, technical specifications, construction documentation, and compliance records accurately and professionally. Understanding of workplace health and safety regulations, environmental management practices, sustainability principles, and risk assessment methodologies. Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple engineering tasks and project priorities effectively. Ability to work independently while contributing positively within multidisciplinary engineering and construction teams.
