Growth & Partnerships Officer supports the execution of Whizmo's growth and partnership initiatives by coordinating partner onboarding, conducting market research, supporting product development activities, and monitoring commercial performance. The role works closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of strategic initiatives, maintain strong partner relationships, and contribute to the company's commercial growth while ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:1. Partnership Support Support the onboarding of new partners. Maintain partner documentation. Coordinate meetings and follow-up actions. Monitor partner communications.2. Market Research Conduct research on competitors, fintech trends, customer behaviour, and new market opportunities. Prepare market intelligence reports.3. Product Support Assist in gathering business requirements. Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and product rollout activities. Track implementation progress.4. Commercial Reporting Prepare reports on product usage, customer growth, transaction volumes, and partnership performance. Maintain dashboards and commercial records.5. Coordination Liaise with Operations, Compliance, Marketing, Finance, Technology, and Customer Excellence. Track project milestones and follow up on action items.6. Compliance Support Ensure documentation complies with internal policies. Support regulatory documentation and partner due diligence activities.7. Administrative Support Prepare presentations, reports, meeting minutes, and commercial documentation. Maintain organized records of partnership agreements and project documentation.
Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Economics, or a related field.1–3 years of experience in Business Development, Partnerships, Commercial, Product, or Project Coordination, preferably within fintech, banking, payments, or technology. Strong analytical and research skills with the ability to interpret market trends and business data. Experience preparing reports, presentations, and dashboards using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Power Point. Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Knowledge of the fintech, digital payments, or financial services industry is an advantage.
