Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai for an ELV Technician. The ELV Technician will install, configure, test, and maintain Extra Low Voltage systems such as CCTV, access control, fire alarm, public address, structured cabling, and related building management components. Daily responsibilities include reading and interpreting technical drawings, pulling and terminating cables, mounting and connecting devices, performing system checks and troubleshooting, and documenting work performed. The role involves coordinating with supervisors, other technicians, and contractors to ensure tasks are completed safely and in line with project specifications and local regulations. The ELV Technician is expected to follow company safety practices, maintain tools and equipment, and support commissioning and handover activities. Qualifications Strong technical knowledge of ELV systems, including CCTV, access control, fire alarm, public address, and structured cabling. Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation. Hands-on experience with installation, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of ELV equipment and devices. Understanding of relevant safety standards, local regulations, and best practices for on-site work. Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to coordinate tasks and report issues clearly. Basic computer literacy for configuration of devices, system logging, and preparation of technical reports. Previous experience as an ELV Technician or in a similar building services role, preferably in Dubai or the GCC region. Vocational diploma, technical certificate, or equivalent qualification in electrical, electronics, or a related field. Willingness to work on-site, follow instructions, adapt to changing project requirements, and maintain high-quality standards.
