• Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and efficient API automation frameworks using languages like Python, Java, or JavaScript.
• Architect and implement comprehensive API test strategies, including functional, performance, security, and contract testing.
• Integrate API automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous feedback and rapid deployment cycles.
• Collaborate closely with developers and product managers to understand feature requirements and translate them into effective test cases.

Desired Candidate Profile

• 6–8+ years of API Automation Testing experience in Banking/FinTech.

• Strong hands-on experience with Playwright API, Rest Assured, PyTest.

• Strong programming skills in TypeScript/JavaScript, Java, or Python.

• Experience validating REST APIs, OAuth2, JWT, JSON Schema Validation.

• Strong understanding of Enterprise Data Platform (EDP) testing.

• Strong SQL skills with data transformation and reconciliation experience.

• Experience with Open Finance/Open Banking, API Gateways, Middleware, Enterprise Integrations.

• Knowledge of Kafka, MQ, Event Streaming is an advantage.

• Experience with CI/CD, Git, Docker and Agile.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Banking, Financial Services, FinTech, Open Banking, or Open Finance.

• Knowledge of Consent Management, API Security, and financial data sharing.

• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Familiarity with AI-assisted testing.

• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
