Job Summary

RUKOOZ is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Draftsman to join our technical team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed shop drawings, production drawings, and technical documentation for custom joinery, architectural woodwork, and interior fit-out projects. The candidate must possess strong technical knowledge of joinery manufacturing and installation requirements and be capable of coordinating with designers, estimators, production teams, and project managers.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed joinery shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and installation drawings.

• Review architectural, interior design, and consultant drawings to develop accurate production drawings.

• Produce detailed sections, elevations, layouts, and material specifications.

• Coordinate with design, estimation, production, and project teams to ensure technical accuracy.

• Prepare cutting lists, material schedules, and hardware schedules as required.

• Resolve technical issues and propose practical joinery solutions during the drafting stage.

• Ensure drawings comply with project specifications, client requirements, and company standards.

• Revise and update drawings based on consultant comments and site requirements.

• Support production and site teams with technical clarifications throughout project execution.

• Maintain proper documentation and drawing control procedures.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Drafting, Interior Design, or a related field.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in joinery and woodworking industries.

• Strong expertise in preparing detailed shop drawings and production drawings.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory.

• Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and interior design drawings.

• Strong understanding of joinery construction details, materials, hardware, and manufacturing processes.

• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
