About The Role

A leading, internationally accredited healthcare provider in UAE is expanding its comprehensive ophthalmology, eye surgery and subspecialty eye care and is seeking a highly skilled Consultant Eye Specialist to join its growing clinical team. The role is designed for internationally trained clinicians seeking career advancement, strong clinical exposure, and the ability to practice within a modern, quality-driven healthcare environment serving a diverse international patient population. Role Overview

The successful candidate will work within a collaborative, multidisciplinary clinical environment supported by experienced consultants, nurses, allied health professionals and modern diagnostic and treatment infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

Diagnose and manage medical and surgical eye conditions across outpatient and operative settings Perform ophthalmic procedures according to subspecialty scope such as cataract, glaucoma, retina, cornea or oculoplastics Interpret ophthalmic imaging, visual fields, OCT and diagnostic tests Manage urgent eye conditions including trauma, acute vision loss, infection and raised intraocular pressure Coordinate care with optometry, endocrinology, neurology, rheumatology and pediatric teams when required Maintain surgical safety, consent, documentation and infection control standards

Requirements

American Board of Ophthalmology UK CCT / FRCOphth European Board / national specialist certification Royal College Certification (Canada) Australian FRANZCO Arab Board MS / DNB / FCPS or equivalent recognised specialist qualification
