- Rapidly assess and stabilize critically ill or injured patients presenting to the emergency department, making crucial decisions under pressure.
- Order, interpret, and act upon diagnostic tests, including imaging and laboratory results, to formulate accurate diagnoses.
- Perform essential emergency procedures, such as intubation, central line placement, and fracture reduction, with precision and efficiency.
- Effectively manage complex medical conditions, including cardiac arrest, stroke, and sepsis, employing evidence-based treatment protocols.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Possesses a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
- Holds board certification in Emergency Medicine from a recognized medical board.
- Maintains current certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS).
- Demonstrates a minimum of 3-5 years of experience practicing emergency medicine in a high-volume setting.
