Role Description This is a part-time remote role for a Cybersecurity Analyst at مجتمع الكتابة. The Cybersecurity Analyst will monitor systems and networks for security events, analyze alerts, and investigate potential incidents. The role includes assessing vulnerabilities, supporting application and network security controls, and assisting in the development and maintenance of security policies and procedures. The individual will collaborate with technical and non-technical teams to recommend risk mitigation measures and support security awareness efforts. The Cybersecurity Analyst will document findings, prepare reports, and help ensure compliance with relevant security standards.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Cybersecurity and Information Security skills, including understanding of security principles, risk management, and incident response. Candidates should possess Network Security skills, including knowledge of firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and secure network architectures. Candidates should possess Application Security skills, including familiarity with secure coding practices, common vulnerabilities, and basic code or configuration review. Candidates should possess Cyber threat analysis skills, including recognizing attack patterns, malware behavior, and emerging threats. Relevant certifications such as Comp TIA Security+, CySA+, CEH, or equivalent are beneficial. Experience with security tools (SIEM, vulnerability scanners, endpoint protection) and ticketing systems is preferred. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and written communication skills, with the ability to work independently in a remote environment. Degree or coursework in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
