Role Description The SITE ENGINEER – MEP INDUSTRY role is a full-time, on-site position based in Dubai. The Site Engineer will oversee day-to-day MEP activities on construction sites, including supervising installation work, coordinating with civil and structural teams, and ensuring compliance with project drawings, specifications, and local regulations. Responsibilities include monitoring quality control, conducting site inspections, resolving technical issues, and ensuring that work is completed safely and within schedule. The role also involves preparing site reports, maintaining documentation, supporting project planning, and collaborating with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure efficient execution of MEP works. Qualifications Supervise and coordinate on-site electrical, plumbing, drainage and HVAC works.  Review IFC, shop, coordination and as-built drawings.  Provide technical guidance based on approved drawings, specifications and method statements.  Coordinate with civil, architectural, fit-out, consultant and subcontractor teams.  Resolve site clashes, installation issues and coordination problems.  Monitor work quality, progress and site safety.  Ensure compliance with project specifications and the requirements of DEWA, Dubai Municipality and Dubai Civil Defence.  Prepare and follow up MIRs, WIRs, inspections, testing, snag rectification and approvals.  Support testing, commissioning, handover and preparation of as-built and O&M documents.  Prepare daily reports, weekly progress reports and site records. Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Building Services, HVAC or a related engineering discipline.  Minimum 3 years of UAE-based MEP site experience.  Practical knowledge of electrical, ELV, water supply, drainage and HVAC systems, including VRF, FCU and AHU.  Familiarity with MEP installation, inspection, testing and commissioning procedures.  Knowledge of DEWA, Dubai Municipality and Dubai Civil Defence requirements. Ability to read IFC, shop, coordination and as-built drawings.  Proficiency in Auto CAD, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.  Good spoken and written English.  Strong coordination, problem-solving and site-management skills.  Responsible, reliable and able to work in a fast-paced site environment. Preferred  BIM, Navisworks or Revit experience.  DEWA certification or relevant Dubai Municipality approval.  Valid UAE driving licence.  Chinese-language ability.
