Role Description The Assistant Professor at Ecologix US will contribute to teaching, research, and academic service in areas aligned with the company’s focus on innovative technology solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and delivering lectures, leading discussions, developing course materials, supervising student projects, and providing mentoring and academic advising. The role also involves conducting applied research, collaborating with colleagues on interdisciplinary initiatives, and contributing to curriculum development that integrates real-world industry practices. This is a part-time, hybrid role based in Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates, with a combination of on-site teaching and meetings, and some work-from-home for preparation, grading, and research activities. Qualifications Strong teaching skills, including course design, lecture delivery, student assessment, and academic mentoring. Demonstrated research capabilities, such as conducting applied studies, publishing in academic or industry outlets, and presenting at conferences. Experience integrating technology and innovative practices into teaching, research, or curriculum development. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly to diverse learners. Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, manage part-time workloads, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. Master’s degree or PhD in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Technology, Business, or related disciplines); a doctoral degree is preferred. Prior university-level teaching or equivalent training experience is highly beneficial. Familiarity with industry trends in technology innovation and business transformation within the region is an advantage.
