Job Summary We are looking for a Quality Engineer with experience in NBR (Nitrile Butadiene Rubber) manufacturing to ensure consistent product quality, monitor production processes, conduct testing, and resolve quality issues. Key Responsibilities Monitor quality parameters throughout the NBR/rubber manufacturing process. Conduct incoming, in-process and final product inspections. Monitor NBR compound and product specifications as per approved standards. Ensure proper control of mixing, processing and production parameters. Identify and investigate quality deviations, defects and process abnormalities. Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement corrective actions. Handle CAPA and 8D reports for internal and customer quality issues. Monitor product rejection, scrap, rework and quality trends. Coordinate with Production and R&D teams to resolve quality problems. Conduct testing of NBR/rubber products as per established procedures. Maintain quality inspection records, test reports and batch documentation. Ensure product traceability and compliance with specifications. Support customer complaints investigation and corrective actions. Monitor calibration of laboratory and inspection equipment. Support internal, external and customer audits. Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and company quality procedures. Prepare daily and monthly quality reports and KPIs. Identify opportunities for process improvement and reduction of rejection. Train production operators on quality requirements and inspection procedures. Preferred Technical Knowledge NBR / nitrile rubber compounds and manufacturing processes. Rubber mixing and processing. Rubber compound quality parameters. Physical and mechanical testing of rubber products. Defect identification and troubleshooting. SPC, 7 QC tools, RCA, CAPA and 8D. ISO 9001 / QMS. Basic knowledge of laboratory testing equipment. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Polymer, Rubber Technology, Mechanical or related Engineering.3–5 years of Quality experience, preferably in NBR/rubber manufacturing. Strong understanding of rubber/NBR production and quality control. Experience in a manufacturing/factory environment is preferred. Good knowledge of MS Excel and quality reporting. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. UAE manufacturing experience is an advantage.
Preferred Candidates:Candidates currently working in NBR, rubber, polymer, insulation, foam or other rubber-product manufacturing companies will be preferred.
