Job description

Candidate Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, with SOE membership and UAE Equivalency.

• Minimum 15+ years of experience in infrastructure construction, with significant experience in underground utilities.

• Proven experience managing large-scale infrastructure projects involving:

o Stormwater drainage

o Sewerage networks

o Potable water networks

o Irrigation networks

o Firefighting networks

o Electrical and telecom duct networks

o Utility diversions and protection

Skills

• Strong technical knowledge of trenching, shoring, dewatering, over-pumping, HDD, pipe jacking, and microtunneling.

• Good understanding of soil classifications and ground conditions.

• Thorough knowledge and experience in traffic diversions.

• Experience in utility coordination, NOCs, authority approvals, and stakeholder management.

• Strong understanding of IFC drawings, specifications, method statements, ITPs, QA/QC, and HSE requirements.

• Proven ability to manage subcontractors, consultants, suppliers, and site teams.

• Strong expertise in planning, scheduling, cost control, progress monitoring, and risk management.

• Experience with FIDIC contracts, variations, claims, and commercial management will be an advantage.

• Good knowledge of UAE local authority requirements and infrastructure standards, preferably RTA ROW requirements in Dubai.

• Strong leadership, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to manage multiple work fronts and ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
