Level: Mid-Level We are seeking a technically capable Mechatronics Engineer | Automation Technician to support the design, installation, commissioning, maintenance, and optimization of automated machinery and mechatronic systems. The ideal candidate will combine engineering knowledge with hands-on technical skills to maintain reliable equipment, improve production efficiency, and support automation projects from development through operation.???? Key Responsibilities• Design, develop, install, and maintain mechatronic and automated systems.• Support automation projects involving mechanical, electrical, electronic, pneumatic, hydraulic, and control components.• Install, configure, test, and commission automated machinery and production equipment.• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, electronic, PLC, sensor, motor, and control-system issues.• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on automation equipment and machinery.• Diagnose equipment faults and conduct systematic root-cause analysis.• Repair, replace, adjust, and calibrate faulty components and equipment.• Program, modify, and troubleshoot PLC control systems where required.• Configure sensors, actuators, motors, drives, controllers, and other automation components.• Support the integration of robotics, conveyors, vision systems, and automated production equipment.• Read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.• Perform equipment alignment, calibration, testing, and functional verification.• Monitor machine performance, equipment availability, downtime, and production efficiency.• Identify opportunities to improve machine reliability, cycle time, productivity, and operational safety.• Assist engineers with the design and implementation of automation upgrades and equipment modifications.• Support factory acceptance testing, site installation, commissioning, and production ramp-up activities.• Conduct inspections and routine checks to identify potential equipment failures before they occur.• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment faults, repairs, spare parts, and test results.• Prepare technical reports, maintenance documentation, troubleshooting procedures, and equipment records.• Work closely with production, maintenance, engineering, quality, and operations teams.• Provide technical support to machine operators and maintenance personnel.• Train technicians and operators on equipment operation, maintenance procedures, and basic troubleshooting.• Ensure machinery and automation systems comply with safety procedures and technical standards.• Support machine upgrades, retrofits, process improvements, and automation expansion projects.• Evaluate new automation technologies, components, and equipment to improve manufacturing capabilities.✅ Requirements• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.• Previous experience in mechatronics, industrial automation, equipment maintenance, manufacturing, or engineering support.• Strong hands-on knowledge of automated machinery and industrial equipment.• Understanding of mechanical, electrical, electronic, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.• Experience with PLC systems such as Siemens, Mitsubishi, Omron, Allen-Bradley, or similar platforms is an advantage.• Knowledge of motors, servo drives, variable-frequency drives, sensors, actuators, relays, and control systems.• Familiarity with industrial robots, conveyors, machine vision, or automated production systems is preferred.• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, wiring diagrams, and equipment manuals.• Experience using multimeters, oscilloscopes, calibration equipment, and other diagnostic tools.• Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.• Understanding of preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and equipment reliability principles.• Basic programming or scripting knowledge is an advantage.• Familiarity with HMI, SCADA, industrial communication networks, and machine-control systems is beneficial.• Good understanding of workplace safety and industrial equipment safety requirements.• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.• Good technical documentation and reporting skills.• Ability to work independently and respond effectively to equipment breakdowns.• Strong communication and teamwork skills.• Ability to work in manufacturing plants, workshops, production floors, or industrial environments.• Willingness to work shifts, overtime, or emergency maintenance support when required.• Relevant technical certifications, PLC certifications, or automation training are advantageous.????
