Job Objective:
Overseeing and coordinating the entire supply chain process to ensure timely delivery, inventory accuracy, and efficient logistics operations. Ensure efficient and cost-effective management of the supply chain to achieve timely delivery, inventory optimization, and seamless logistics operations.
Job Responsibilities:
Supply Chain Management:
- Coordinate and manage the supply chain process from procurement to delivery.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment of stock.
- Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
Transportation Coordination:
- Arrange transportation for the delivery of goods to and from suppliers and customers.
- Negotiate contracts with transportation providers and monitor their performance.
- Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and standards.
Warehouse Management:
- Oversee warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods.
- Implement and maintain inventory management systems.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure inventory accuracy and quality control.
Order Fulfilment:
- Process and track customer orders to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
- Resolve any issues related to order discrepancies, delays, or damages.
- Coordinate with sales and customer service teams to meet customer expectations.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Prepare and maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory, and logistics activities.
- Generate regular reports on logistics performance and key metrics.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements for documentation.
Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with internal departments such as procurement, production, and sales.
- Coordinate with external stakeholders, including suppliers, transporters, and regulatory authorities.
- Provide guidance and support to logistics staff and team members.
- Minimum 2-3 years of logistics experience within the manufacturing industry.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
