Cargo Network Performance Supervisor

 

In this role as a Cargo Network Performance Supervisor, you are accountable to support and coordinate with Cargo Operations Network Management to continuously enhance the end-to-end service quality, maintaining acceptable level of service delivery standards as per business objectives and set of predefined network Key Performance Indicators. Support Cargo Operations Management in ensuring contracts remain compliant with corporate governance, supplier capability records are up-to-date.

 

Accountabilities:

•    Responsible to update, maintain and enhance the central contracts repository of all cargo operations contracts, ensuring corporate governance is maintained.
•    Ensure the Supplier Chain Management (SCM) in Intelex system is up to date and accurate with relevant supplier information. 
•    Support sourcing projects for third party suppliers at new and existing stations, including the completion of sourcing requests, ad-hoc forms, and data collection.
•    Support the Cargo Operations Management and extended team in ensuring that cargo handling contracts remain valid and in compliance with corporate governance and applicable policies.
•    Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including P&SM, Finance, Ground Services, service providers etc. facilitating and preparing performance review meetings and timely completion of documentation, incl. but not limited to SGHA, SLA, handling capability matrix, etc.
•    Responsible to coordinate, validate and maintain station profile information, including but not limited to facility and handling capability information and contacts in close cooperation with the Area Managers to identify any improvements or gaps that may be present.
•    Support Regional Managers (RMs) analyzing operational performance (OTP, DAP, ULD KPI etc.), identifying trends, and provide recommendations for improvements.
•    Ensure implementation of appropriate network and administrative controls to achieve Etihad Airways standards and corporate objectives.
•    Responsible for preparation of monthly/quarterly structured performance review meetings and associated materials with service providers, internal stakeholders and customers and ensure meeting minutes and audit records are maintained and action items are followed through.
•    Support evidence collection as and when required for internal and external audits.
•    Make day-to-day operational decisions to manage and mitigate operational safety and security related risks associated with assigned tasks, through effective evaluation and decision making based on conditions, hazards, and threats.
•    Escalate medium or high-level risks to appropriate management level personnel. 

 

 

Education & Experience:

•    Minimum Education high school level. Further education in logistics/aviation and/or Operations management is a definite advantage.
•    Minimum 3 years’ experience with a demonstrable experience in Airline Cargo Operations, Ground Handling Operations, KPI Performance Management at a station level.
•    Experienced on Cargo handling systems and messaging requirements. 
•    Understanding of budgetary controls related to cargo handling with an in-depth knowledge of Management Information System – MIS reports.
•    Hands-on experience and proficiency in MS Excel and Power Point
•    Excellent written and verbal communication skills, logical thinking, and excellent computer literacy.
