Job description:

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Safari Operations Executive, will be responsible for overseeing and managing the operational aspects of safari experiences. This role involves coordinating logistics, ensuring guest satisfaction, and collaborating with various teams to deliver seamless and memorable safari adventures.

Job Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with safari managers and guides to plan and coordinate safari itineraries.

• Ensure efficient logistics, including transportation, accommodations, and activity scheduling.

• Interact with guests to understand their preferences, provide information, and address inquiries.

• Monitor guest satisfaction and work to enhance the overall safari experience.

• Coordinate transportation services, including game drives, flights, and transfers.

• Ensure timely and safe transport of guests between locations and within the safari camp.

• Establish and maintain positive relationships with suppliers, accommodations, and local vendors.

• Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure favorable terms for safari services.

• Implement and enforce safety protocols, emergency procedures, and wildlife conservation guidelines.

• Ensure compliance with local regulations and industry standards.

• Assist in developing and managing the safari budget, monitoring expenses, and optimizing cost-efficiency.

• Work towards achieving financial targets while maintaining service quality.

• Maintain accurate records of safari logistics, guest details, and other relevant information.

• Assist in document control processes and ensure compliance with recordkeeping procedures.

• Collaborate with safari guides, camp staff, and other teams to ensure smooth operations.

• Provide support and assistance to on-site teams during peak seasons or special events.

• Promote sustainable and eco-friendly safari practices.

• Educate guests and staff on responsible wildlife viewing and environmental conservation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Tourism, Hospitality, or a related field.

• Proven experience in safari operations or a similar role within the travel and tourism industry.

• Strong organizational and logistical coordination skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Knowledge of local flora, fauna, and wildlife conservation principles.
