Job Description:
The Corporate Finance Manager drives the identification and setting of financial goals for both the long and short-term. The Corporate Finance
Manager will strategize and look for market-driven opportunities to reach these goals including debt financing and investment decision evaluations.
The manager will work in capital management, mergers & acquisitions, divestitures, valuations and due diligence. In addition, the Manager is
responsible for reorganizing and optimizing AGT’s finances and financial systems, corporate insurances and reporting.
-Monitor market trends and evaluate company financial data and set business development plans
-Set strategy economic and investment decisions and report to VP of Treasury and other top management
-Set capital management and other financial strategy activities in order to optimize AGT’s cash flows
-Drive analysis of different debt financing options
-Manage the company’s current investments and expenditures
-Manage the Compilation, review and verification of Corporate Finance related forms and documents
-Ensure complete and accurate maintenance of records
-Manage and prepare reporting to the VP Treasury and CFO.
Minimum Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in finance or a related field, such as accounting or business
- A Master's degree in finance or accounting, or a Master of Business Administration
- Certified Public Accountants (CPAs) certificate is a plus
Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills
- 7+ years in Corporate Finance, Investment banking or Corporate Development role
- Financial Knowledge - financial planning and strategy, managing profitability, quality management, promoting process improvement, forecasting, corporate finance, developing budgets, knowledge of financial reporting requirements (including financial reporting standards according to IFRS) to be able to produce financial and management accounts that accurately reflect the operations of the business
- Industry knowledge - specific experience with/understanding of key drivers, economics, and management practices of integrated oil industry
- Commodities Trading knowledge - keeps up to date with international events and geo-political climate, accounting for trading commodities and financial instruments within the energy sector
