Sales Manager

Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Pump Sales Manager to join our team in the UAE. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to achieve revenue targets, managing client relationships, and expanding our market presence in the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy & Planning:
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets and growth objectives.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for business expansion.
  • Create and manage annual sales forecasts and budgets.
  • Client Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and partners.
  • Conduct regular meetings and presentations to understand client needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Address customer inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Business Development:
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities and markets.
  • Develop proposals and negotiate contracts to secure new projects and accounts.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials and campaigns.
  • Team Leadership & Development:
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve their targets and professional growth.
  • Provide training and support on product knowledge, sales techniques, and market insights.
  • Product Knowledge & Expertise:
  • Maintain a deep understanding of pump products, technologies, and industry standards.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and technological advancements.
  • Reporting & Analysis:
  • Prepare and present regular sales reports and performance metrics to senior management.
  • Analyze sales data and customer feedback to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in sales management within the pump industry or a related field.
  • Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets and managing a sales team.
  • Strong understanding of the UAE market, including key players, customer needs, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of different types of pumps and their applications in various industries (e.g., oil & gas, water treatment, industrial processes).
  • Established network of industry contacts and potential clients in the UAE.
  • Fluency in Arabic is an advantage but not mandatory.
