Finance Operations Manager

Our Client, A leading management consultancy firm are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Operations & Finance Manager with proven team leading experience to oversee their Dubai Tax and Accounting division operations.


This role is crucial for ensuring that our clients' tax, accounting, and compliance requirements are met while providing key financial insights to senior management. You will manage day-to-day operations, lead the finance team, and ensure the delivery of high-quality services to our clients.


Responsibilities:


  • Serve as the Finance Manager, directing all finance and accounting functions.
  • Develop short and long-term strategic financial objectives.
  • Manage the entire finance & operations team.
  • Manage financial reporting, FP&A, IFRS standards, auditing, and internal controls.
  • Analyze financial data to provide strategic advice to senior management.
  • Prepare and manage budgets, ensuring adherence and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with VAT regulations and other financial reporting requirements.
  • Lead and manage the Dubai operations team to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for consistency and quality.
  • Oversee client relationships, ensuring compliance with regulations and exceptional customer service.
  • Supervise, coach, and mentor team members to drive high performance.
  • Maintain and enhance client relationships, providing tailored solutions and resolving issues promptly.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless service delivery.


Requirements


  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting;
  • ACCA/CA/CPA/CMA qualified
  • Team leading experience
  • Extensive relevant experience, in the UAE.
  • Strong Knowledge of IFRS
  • Strong knowledge of accounts payable/receivable, financial reporting, and tax computations.
  • Strategic planning and analytical skills.
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
  • High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
