Job Description:
- Manage the Contractors particularly MEP in project delivery
- Report any HSE issues on site and contribute to HSE in accordance with Arcadis TRACK system.
- Review important Shop Drawings, BIM Models, Material Submittals against Contract deliverables and project specifications.
- Attend Factory Acceptance Tests
- Present any business project risks or issues to senior managers (with proposed mitigation) to ensure the project is not adversely impacted, and
- ensure the delivery of projects to compliant standards
- Manage testing and Commissioning process.
- Ensure the Contractor is following all required steps for the authority approvals and track the approvals.
- Monitor the construction phase, manage the Contractor’s MEP quality of installation against contract deliverables.
- Monitor the coordination of the MEP disciplines with structure and architecture.
- Use own knowledge and experience of industry best practice to review and analyse project processes and policies, providing insightful
- recommendations that support senior management to improve processes and systems
- Advise senior management on progress and issues relating to own project, providing subject matter advice in order to support successful
delivery in line with project objectives and strategies
- Liaise and collaborate with clients and stakeholders, in order to ensure all parties are informed and aware of project progress and expectations
- Deliver aspects of Arcadis’ vision to their respected project(s)
Qualifications, Skills and Prior Work Experience:
- Relevant experience including management of medium to large scale sized up scale commercial projects (AKA ‘core’ sized projects)
- Experience in reviewing MEP design and picking up issues which need to be rectified.
- Review BIM model and coordination on platforms like BIM360.
- Experience of reviewing major MEP material submittals such as HV Panels, AHUs, PHEX, Generators and compliance to project specification
- Testing and Commissioning management
- MEP Construction Management and quality monitoring
- Program monitoring
- Mechanical preferrably or Electrical Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
