Key Responsibilities:
- Continuously inspect products and ongoing production processes to ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Conduct in-line checks during various stages of production and report any deviations.
- Collaborate closely with the production team to address quality issues immediately.
- Perform real-time inspections of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.
- Ensure compliance with customer and regulatory requirements by conducting appropriate tests and measurements.
- Maintain accurate records of quality inspections and any corrective actions taken.
- Assist in identifying the root causes of quality defects and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Support internal and external audits by providing quality data and reports.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards.
- Identify and segregate non-conforming products during production.
- Perform regular in-line inspections to check for defects, inconsistencies, or deviations from specifications. Document inspection results and take immediate corrective actions if necessary.
- Train and guide production and other departmental staff on standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality expectations.
- Ensure that all testing and inspection equipment is regularly calibrated and functioning properly.
- Verify label compliance against regulatory and customer requirements.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for enhancing product quality.
Skills
Education:
B.Sc. in Food Technology or B.Sc. in Microbiology.
Skills Required:
Good knowledge of HACCP.
Trained in FSSC, ISO, or any GFSI-approved schemes.
Experience Required:
A minimum of 2 years of industrial experience in the UAE is a must.
Candidates must be locally available.
