We are looking for an experienced IT Support Engineer to be a key part of our clients IT operations, providing top-notch support to our users and ensuring seamless functionality across systems and networks. As part of this role, you’ll be responsible for handling technical issues, resolving user concerns, and maintaining a smooth IT environment across theirinfrastructure.
This position involves day-to-day troubleshooting, the installation and configuration of hardware and software, and ongoing maintenance of systems and networks. You’ll be working closely with our team and users to ensure any IT-related issues are resolved swiftly, keeping operations running smoothly.
- Install, configure, and maintain a variety of IT systems including hardware, software, and network setups
- Provide support to users, helping them troubleshoot technical issues related to computers, software, and network connections
- Continuously monitor and maintain IT infrastructure, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance
- Diagnose and resolve system and network problems, whether hardware or software-related, efficiently and effectively
- Support the deployment and rollout of new applications, ensuring that users are onboarded smoothly and all systems are integrated
- Keep detailed records of issues encountered and solutions implemented to aid in future troubleshooting and knowledge sharing
- Act as a technical resource for users across various departments, providing guidance and support for their IT needs
- Ability to work collaboratively with users, understanding their needs and providing clear communication and solutions
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to think critically and solve problems on the go
- A passion for technology, with a proactive approach to keeping up with the latest IT developments
- Strong experience in Microsoft environments (Windows 10, 11, Server, Active Directory, Office 365)
- Proficiency with network technologies such as Cisco, Fortinet, and protocols like VLAN, routing, firewalling, DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP.
