Job Title: Senior Finance Manager

Job Overview:

Our client is seeking a Finance Manager with a minimum of 8 years of experience to oversee financial operations and ensure strategic financial management. The candidate will be responsible for supporting the business at both corporate and project levels. This position requires a combination of financial expertise, strategic thinking, and effective communication skills.

In this full-time, on-site role the candidate will oversee various financial functions, including project management, financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting, key performance indicator management, cross-functional collaboration, and risk management.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of strategic financial plans for the logistics and supply chain industry, aligning financial goals with operational objectives to drive long-term growth.
• Conduct comprehensive financial analysis to identify trends, assess performance, and pinpoint areas for improvement in logistics and supply chain processes.
• Identify gaps in process deliverables such as Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) and Invoicing within the logistics and supply chain function.
• Implement cost accounting practices to accurately track and analyse costs associated with logistics and supply chain operations.
• Lead efforts to transform finance and operational teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and implementing change management initiatives.
• Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, serving as a trusted advisor to provide insights and recommendations that support strategic decision-making.
• Assess financial risks in logistics and supply chain operations, developing mitigation strategies to protect the organization's financial health.
• Establish KPIs to track financial performance and operational efficiency, analyzing data to provide regular reports that measure progress and drive accountability.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 8 years' experience in in Strategic Decision making, financial planning and analysis preferably in a high growth fintech company.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Master's degree in finance/CPA is preferred.
• Advanced financial modelling and analytical skills, with a deep understanding of financial statements, key metrics, and forecasting techniques specific to the technology industry.
• Demonstrated experience managing an FP&A function.
