What you will do

  • Achieve/exceed monthly/annual sales targets while maximizing the profitability of the business by focusing on both net sales and gross margin earnings. This includes utilizing discounts as a tool to close deals
  • Contact prospective customers and assigned accounts within the designated territory
  • Conduct regular customer/field visits to assess business requirements and maintain healthy relationships to ensure top customer satisfaction levels
  • Qualify customers by understanding their requirements and interests; matching these to various models
  • Demonstrate trucks by explaining characteristics, capabilities, and features, offering test drives, and explaining warranties and services
  • Write sales orders, secure deposits, and process paperwork in accordance with established business policies
  • Maintain a strong focus on customer satisfaction
  • Attend all sales meetings and modular training sessions, refresher courses that introduce new products, and inform the Sales Manager/Branch Manager if additional training is required
  • Provide sales management information by completing reports
  • Ensure monthly overdues are not more than the agreed target


Skills

Required skills to be successful

  • 3+ years of experience in a Commercial Vehicle sales role at a dealership
  • Mandatory experience in Medium & Heavy Duty Trucks Sales in UAE
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Very strong computer skills including Excel and Microsoft Office products
