By bridging the gap between the customers and the company, the work of a telesales involves having telephonic conversations with the customers, while hitting the sales targets of the company. Going the extra mile for the customer is a vital part of the role of the telesales executive. With an in-depth knowledge of the company’s offerings, the ideal telesales works towards building a strong relationship with customers, by making telephonic sales.
Objectives of this role
- Meet weekly/monthly sales targets by developing a marketing strategy as a telesales
- Gain a deep understanding of the company’s services and find gaps in the customer’s lives wherein the company’s services fit
- Foster strong relationships with existing and potential customers by honing the telesales skills such as listening, empathy and problem-solving
- Comply with the rules and regulations of the company by providing customer support as a telemarketing executive
Responsibilities
- Convert leads for the company through telephonic conversations
- Maintain and monitor the records of all the conversations, be it customer feedback, purchase orders or queries
- Stick to the sales script and strategy, but also improvise it when needed, within the scope of the telesales job role
- Update customers about new launches and record customer reactions to new products
- Be aware of the latest industry trends as a telesales
- Liaise with the concerned department regarding customer queries and complaints
Skills
Required skills and qualifications
- 2 years experience working as a telesales for petrol, lubricant, oil in UAE
- Fluency in English
- Adept knowledge of working with MS Office
- Great communication skills, both verbal and written
Preferred skills and qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in communication, marketing, or a similar discipline
- Proven record of meeting sales targets
- Outstanding negotiation and time management skills
