Charterhouse is working with a leading Bank, who is looking to hire a Head of HR to lead and develop their Human Resources Function. This is great opportunity for a HR professional to assist with the organisation’s growth. Our client requires someone with adept HR Experience having worked in a Managerial Role within the UAE.

About the Role
The Head of HR will be responsible for managing the companies HR Function in Dubai to support organisation goals and business growth. This role will be the main point of contact for all employees within the Middle East Office, as well as develop HR strategy, implement new processes and develop company policies and procedures to ensure he business is compliant with the UAE labour law.

Reporting to the CEO, the Head of HR will oversee the full employee life-cycle including overseeing the recruitment process, whilst being heavily involved in interviews, to ensure the best fit candidates are identified and selected to meet the business requirements. The Head of HR will work closely with Group Head of HR assisting in performance reviews, staff appraisals, talent management and retention by recommending best-practice workplace initiatives. This role will also be responsible for managing the UAE budget, workforce planning, compensation and benefits, employee relations, addressing any issues and recommending improvements.

About You
To be considered for this role, the candidate must have at least 10 years HR Management Experience with a minimum of 3 years within a Leadership Role. The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree ideally within a related field and have excellent knowledge of the UAE employment law.

The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator and decision maker with experience working closely with Senior Board Directors to develop business strategy and contribute to the organisation’s growth. The successful candidate will have a professional and personable approach with attention to detail and exceptional organisational skills. The candidate will have excellent communication skills in both English, written and verbal, Arabic is an Advantage. Our client requires a UAE National for this role.
