Senior Specialist -Procurement

About the job:


We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Procurement Specialist to join our Procurement Department. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing a comprehensive framework for Strategic Vendor Relationship Management based on international best practices. This position demands a forward-thinking professional with a strong background in procurement, strategic sourcing, and vendor management to drive efficiency and innovation across the supply chain.


Key Responsibilities :


1- Program Development and Implementation

-Collaborate with the Information Technology Department and relevant stakeholders to develop and implement computer programs aimed at improving procurement procedures.

-Monitor the efficiency of these programs and recommend updates or modifications as needed.


2-Technical Follow-Up and Reporting

-Address pending technical matters in coordination with concerned parties, and promptly report obstacles or delays to the direct supervisor along with their root causes.

-Interface with external parties, including contractors, consultants, and official departments, to resolve technical issues as directed, and provide timely updates to the supervisor on progress and outcomes.


3-Strategic Planning and Budgeting

-Contribute to the preparation of work plans, programs, and the annual budget for the section/department, particularly in areas involving technical matters.

-Identify technical studies required for improving processes and provide necessary data and insights.


Education

-Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from a recognized university.

-Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in procurement, vendor management, or a related field.
