Location: UAEExperience: Minimum 8 Years in UAEQualification: BE in Electrical Engineering Preference: Experience with TRANSCO, ADDC, DEWA, or similar authorities Voltage Levels: 220k V / 132k V SubstationsRole Overview The Assistant Resident Engineer – Electrical (Substation Protection) will support the Resident Engineer in supervising and managing all electrical and protection-related activities within 220k V, and 132k V high-voltage substation projects. The role ensures compliance with technical standards, regulatory requirements, safety protocols, and approved engineering designs throughout project execution and handover.Key Responsibilities Assist the Resident Engineer as required in accordance with the project needs. Conduct regular site visits and inspections for protection and electrical works in 220/132k V substations. Liaise and coordinate with all technical disciplines to maintain seamless execution of works. Attend Site Technical Coordination Meetings to discuss contractor submissions, shop drawings, and construction matters. Inspect and monitor contractor activities to ensure compliance with Contract Documents and accepted engineering practices. Ensure adherence to approved method statements, drawings, layouts, and protection schemes. Witness site activities, testing, commissioning, and protection system validations. Assist the Resident Engineer during final inspections, certification of completion, and project handover.
