Engineer – Advanced Engine Architecture

Engineer – Advanced Engine Architecture (On-site UAE)We are seeking an Engineer – Advanced Engine Architectures to lead the aerodynamic, thermodynamic, and architectural development of next-generation propulsion systems. This role focuses on compressible-flow modeling, conceptual/preliminary engine-cycle design, and novel propulsive architectures for advanced configurations such as high-speed propulsion and distributed systems.Key Responsibilities Develop and evaluate new propulsion system concepts and perform early-stage feasibility assessments. Lead preliminary cycle analysis and trade studies (thrust, SFC, weight, operability envelopes). Generate conceptual engine layouts, flow path definitions, and aerodynamic sizing. Conduct aerodynamic analysis across internal and external surfaces, including compressible-flow phenomena. Collaborate cross-functionally to influence system-level design decisions. Support testing and validation campaigns, integrating empirical data into models. Develop automated modeling workflows and parametric architecture-evaluation tools.Qualifications Master’s or PhD in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering (focus on aerodynamics or propulsion).7+ years of experience in aerospace or advanced propulsion systems. Strong foundation in compressible-flow theory and aerodynamic modeling. Experience in preliminary propulsion system sizing or cycle analysis. Proficiency in Python for modeling and simulation automation.Preferred Skills Familiarity with AMESIM, Siemens Studio, CFD, aero-thermal coupling. Experience with CAD tools for geometry preparation and concept design. Multidisciplinary optimization exposure. Why Join Us? Work on cutting-edge propulsion technologies for aerospace and defense. Influence early-stage design decisions for next-generation platforms. Collaborate with a team of experts in a high-impact, innovation-driven environment. This role is fully on-site and would require relocation to the UAE.
