Senior Mobile Engineer (React Native)

We’re looking for a top-tier Senior Mobile Engineer with deep experience in React Native, focused on building high-performance, production-grade mobile applications. This role is for engineers who actively think about performance, memory, and reliability, not just UI.Core mobile engineering • Deep, hands-on experience with React Native in real production apps • Strong experience with performance optimization (rendering, memory usage, startup time) • Strong understanding of React Native internals and how the bridge works • Solid knowledge of Type Script and modern Java Script patterns • Strong understanding of i OS and Android fundamentals, not just the JS layerPerformance & optimization focus • Profiling and debugging performance issues using Flipper, Xcode Instruments, Android Studio tools • Preventing unnecessary re-renders, optimizing lists, gestures, and animations • Experience reducing bundle size, improving app startup time, and memory usage • Knowing when and how to drop into native code for performance-critical pathsMobile architecture & platform depth • Designing scalable mobile architectures and state management • Experience with navigation, gestures, background tasks, and device APIs • Familiarity with native modules, Turbo Modules, JSI, or Fabric is a strong plusQuality, testing & reliability • Strong focus on testing and QA • Experience with unit, integration, and end-to-end mobile testing • Familiarity with Jest, React Native Testing Library, Detox, or similar • Experience maintaining long-lived, production mobile codebasesProduction ownership • Experience shipping and maintaining apps on App Store and Google Play • Comfortable owning releases, debugging production crashes, and handling hotfixes • Ability to review code, make architectural decisions, and raise quality standardsBonus (valuable) • Expo (managed or bare workflows) • Native i OS (Swift/Obj-C) or Android (Kotlin/Java) experience • CI/CD pipelines for mobile builds and releases
