The Specialist Engineer – QA/QC (Fabrication) is responsible for ensuring that all fabrication activities comply with project specifications, applicable codes, standards, and quality requirements within the oil and gas industry.Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor and control fabrication activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings, procedures, and standards Review and approve QA/QC documents such as ITPs, WPS, PQRs, and Method Statements Coordinate welding, inspection, and NDT activities Conduct inspections and witness tests during fabrication Identify, report, and follow up on non-conformances (NCRs) and corrective actions Ensure proper material identification, traceability, and documentation Prepare and review quality records and final dossiers Coordinate with fabrication teams, inspectors, and project stakeholders RequirementsBachelor's degree in engineering 15+ years of experience in QA/QC fabrication within the oil and gas industry Strong knowledge of fabrication processes, welding, and inspection Familiarity with international codes and standards (ASME, API, ISO, etc.) Good communication and reporting skills
