EducationBachelor’s degree in Business, Risk Management, Finance, or related field (Master’s preferred). Knowledge of ERM frameworks such as ISO 31000 and COSO. Proficiency in English (spoken and written); Arabic is an added advantage.Experience2–4 years of experience in risk management, auditing, or compliance—preferably in academia or the public sector. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Responsibilities Risk Assessment & MonitoringConduct periodic risk assessments across university departments. Analyze risks related to academic, operational, financial, technological, and compliance areas. Maintain and update the institutional risk register. Evaluate the effectiveness of existing controls and recommend improvements.Risk Reporting & DocumentationPrepare detailed risk reports, dashboards, and presentations for management and committees. Assist in preparing reports for accreditation bodies and external auditors. Ensure documentation aligns with ERM standards and institutional policies.Risk Mitigation & Action PlanningSupport departments in developing risk mitigation plans. Track action items, deadlines, and progress of risk treatments. Assess risk trends and emerging risks affecting higher education institutions.Coordination & AwarenessWork closely with departments to build a risk-aware culture. Facilitate awareness sessions, training workshops, and risk surveys. Support the implementation of business continuity and resilience initiatives.Other DutiesUndertake additional responsibilities and special projects as assigned by management.Soft SkillsAccuracy and attention to detail. Critical thinking and logical evaluation of risks. Strong report-writing capabilities. Effective stakeholder coordination.
