Treasury Analyst

ob Overview We are looking for a detail-oriented and well-organised Treasury Analyst to join the Finance team. This role will provide direct support to the Finance Manager in overseeing daily cash management activities, liquidity planning, and treasury operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, adaptability to evolving business needs, and a proactive approach to ensuring accuracy and efficiency across all treasury-related tasks. Key Responsibilities 1. Cash & Liquidity Management Prepare daily cash position reports and monitor balances across all bank accounts. Develop short- and medium-term cash flow forecasts, identifying potential funding shortfalls or excess liquidity. Process internal fund movements and external payments accurately and within required timelines. Support the efficient utilisation of cash across multiple entities, currencies, and regions. 2. Banking & Treasury Operations Assist with the opening, maintenance, and closure of bank accounts. Maintain bank mandates, authorised signatory lists, and KYC documentation. Ensure treasury activities comply with internal policies, procedures, and control frameworks. Liaise with banking partners to address and resolve operational matters. 3. Financial Risk Management Monitor foreign exchange exposure, interest rate risk, and liquidity risk. Prepare analytical reports and dashboards to support management decision-making. 4. Treasury Reporting & Analysis Produce weekly and monthly treasury reports. Support month-end close processes, including reconciliations and audit support schedules. Analyse variances between actual cash movements and forecasts. Maintain complete and accurate treasury documentation and audit trails. 5. Investment & Debt Support Assist in monitoring investment portfolios and interest-bearing accounts. Support the execution and tracking of short-term investment activities. Monitor loan repayments, interest schedules, and covenant compliance. Prepare reporting packages for lenders when required. 6. Systems & Process Enhancement Collaborate with Finance and IT teams to improve treasury systems and automation. Identify process inefficiencies and recommend enhancements to improve controls and operational effectiveness. Ensure accuracy and integrity of data within treasury management systems (TMS).

Skills

Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related discipline. Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams, report to management, and engage with banking partners. Solid understanding of cash management, liquidity forecasting, foreign exchange risk, interest rates, and financial instruments. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Experience with Treasury & Risk Management (TRM) or other treasury management systems is an advantage. High level of professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail
