About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated Finance Intern to join our dynamic finance team in Dubai. This role offers hands-on experience in financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, financial analysis, accounts payable/receivable, and audit support. The successful candidate will collaborate with experienced professionals, contribute to key financial processes, and develop practical skills in a fast-paced corporate environment.
Responsibilities:
Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
Support budgeting and forecasting activities, including variance analysis
Conduct financial analysis to identify trends and cost-saving opportunities
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and timely
Compile schedules, reconciliations, and documentation to support internal and external audits
Maintain and update financial records, spreadsheets, and databases
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and resolve discrepancies
Participate in ad hoc financial projects and process improvement initiatives
Skills
Required Qualifications:
Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
0–1 year of internship or academic project experience in finance or accounting
Basic understanding of financial reporting principles and accounting standards
Familiarity with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis techniques
Knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
Exposure to audit support procedures
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas and pivot tables
Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a team and manage time in a deadline-driven environment
Availability to commit to a 3–6 month internship in Dubai
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior internship or coursework in corporate finance or accounting
Experience with ERP or accounting software such as SAP, Oracle, or QuickBooks
Familiarity with IFRS and UAE accounting regulations
Advanced Excel skills (macros, VBA) or experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI)
Multilingual proficiency, including English and Arabic
Enrollment in or completion of professional certifications (ACCA, CMA)
Demonstrated problem-solving skills and process improvement mindset
